site selection and lease negotiation

Assistance is available at no-cost through our association with Franchise Real Estate, LLC (FRE). The team of experienced brokers at FRE will assist you with finding an ideal site for your studio, including a thorough review of the market area and its demographics. Plus, they are experienced negotiators that can assist with obtaining rent and build-out allowances.

financing assistance

This is also available at no-cost to Waxing the City franchisees. Our financing department has a streamlined consulting process that begins with a review of your personal and business finances. We then recommend a wide range of products and services for financing your Waxing the City studio. These include SBA loans, financing packages, leveraging retirement funds, and making use of personal resources.

Franchisees of the Waxing the City® system are eligible for expedited and streamlined SBA loan processing through the SBA’s Franchise Registry Program.


studio design and construction

Our construction and design department can assist you, your architect, and your contractor with all phases of your studio design and build-out. With our Studio in a Box supply system and corporate-approved design guide, you can seamlessly integrate your studio décor with the Waxing the City brand elements. This provides a turn-key solution for you and a spa-like environment for your clients.


comprehensive training

From a week-long course for new franchisees that is tailored specifically to studio operations, to regional workshops, advanced managerial sessions, and annual franchisee conferences, Waxing the City is committed to your training and development needs. For your staff, our master trainers provide unrivaled technical training to ensure your licensed estheticians are certified to deliver our optimal waxing standards. Your studio coordinators also have a customized training track, where they learn the art of superior client service.


ongoing support

Waxing the City offers a host of tools and resources for our franchisees. Just some of the tools available to you include a web-based Franchisee Support Center with real-time franchise news, online operations manual, extensive training curriculum, staff management features, and more! This easy-to-use dashboard securely provides the support our franchisees and their staff need on a daily basis. In addition, you can participate in regularly-scheduled conference calls and webinars.


marketing support

Our experienced marketing team will help you generate buzz in your community. From a grand opening program that builds excitement in your market 45 days before and after your studio opens, to innovative plans, programs, and promotions using custom-designed marketing pieces, you will have the tools and resources to drive studio traffic. Other innovative ways to attract clients include our corporate-level social media properties (with the option of going local) and guidelines for getting publicity through local media outlets.
